Started in 1997, Daystar has been serving students from around Chicago for over 25 years. In that time we have grown in depth and breadth to the preschool through 12th grade school that we are now. Some things, though, have not changed; we continue to be deeply committed to diversity that reflects the diversity of Chicago both ethnically and economically. Daystar's students come from nearly 50 zip codes throughout Chicagoland, from right down the street to beyond the city limits. 

Our desire for this unique community begins with our admissions process. We want to get to know you, prospective Daystar families, just as you get to know us. Daystar families come from a wide variety of different backgrounds and each has different reasons why Daystar is the perfect fit for their family. As you start to discover whether it may also be the best fit for yours, our admissions team is committed to giving you all the resources you need to make the right decision.

Observing students discovering, getting excited about their learning, and excelling cannot be described; it has to be seen.
